A-Affordable Auto Parts has been at 328 Patterson Rd in Joliet since 1989. It is locally and family owned, and it has stayed on this yard the whole time, pulling, testing and selling used auto parts for foreign and domestic vehicles across the Chicagoland area. The business describes itself as having over 40 years of experience in the auto parts industry, a claim about the people who have worked the counter more than the address itself, since the Patterson Road yard has been open since 1989.
Every part that leaves the counter has already been tested. That is not a line on a page, it is the step that happens before anything goes on the shelf or out to a customer, and it is the reason the 90-day limited warranty on our warranty page means something rather than just sitting on a wall.
The counter is bilingual, English and Spanish, and has been for as long as anyone at the yard can remember. If a part is not sitting on the shelf, the counter locates it rather than turn a customer away, and free estimates usually come back inside one to two days. The yard also buys vehicles, most types, running or not, with next-day pickup once a price is agreed. Delivery runs next-day across the area, and same-day service is available too. At the counter, American Express, Apple Pay, cash, Discover, Mastercard and Visa are all accepted.
Monday to Friday the yard is open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday hours run every other week, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, so call the counter first before driving out. Whatever the question, the fastest way to get an answer is still to call, or send it through the contact page.
