The panel list
Body work is the widest shelf in the yard, because so much of it survives a wreck that totals the rest of the car. Doors and door panels, fenders and quarter panels, hoods and trunk lids, bumpers and grilles, headlights and taillights, mirrors and glass, body mouldings and trim all come off donor vehicles, foreign and domestic, and go through the same check as anything else pulled at 328 Patterson Rd.
None of it is graded by guesswork. A panel gets looked over for straightness, rust and prior repair before it goes on the shelf, and the counter will tell you plainly if a piece has a mark worth knowing about before you drive out with it.

Bumpers, specifically
Bumpers get their own attention because they are rarely one piece. Front and rear covers come off separate from the reinforcement bar behind them, and the brackets that hold the two together are their own small, easy-to-lose item. Both chrome and painted covers move through the yard, and a painted cover is only worth as much as its colour match, which is the first thing the counter checks before it goes on the shelf.
If a customer only needs the reinforcement or only needs the cover, that is fine. Selling the two separately is normal here, and it is usually the cheaper way to fix a fender-bender than replacing the whole assembly.
Chapter 03
Sold as is, and what to check before you drive out
Body parts are sold as is. There are no returns on them, which means the checking happens at the counter, not after you get home. Match the colour code off your own door jamb sticker against the part before you pay, not after, because two cars in the same model year can carry different factory shades.
Check the mounting points too. A bumper cover or a fender that looks clean can still have a bent bracket or a hairline crack hiding behind it, and that is easier to see under the yard's own lights than in a driveway. Ask whoever is at the counter, Mark or Charlie or whoever is working that day, to walk the part with you before it leaves.
Delivery on panels
Next-day delivery and same-day service both apply to body parts the same way they apply to everything else that leaves this yard, so a panel job does not have to sit waiting on pickup. Ask at the counter when you order which one fits your job.
The Joliet counter is bilingual, English and Spanish, so describing a scrape or a mismatch is not a barrier to getting the right panel the first time.
